Schedule Request: 32-team, 2 subleagues, 2 divisions each, 8 teams per division.
Could I please get a schedule with these parameters?
1. 2 subleagues 2. 2 divisions per SL 3. 8 teams per division 4. No interleague 5. 120 games per season 6. Season start on Memorial Day 7. Double round robin 8. Four games per series, doubleheaders last day of series 9. Off day on Wednesdays 10. Two series homestands, two series road trips. 11. All teams play or no team plays. 12. One subleague plays at 1pm, the other plays at 7pm, double headers are all 1pm/7pm, switches off between series. |
I'm thinking of writing this one, but keep in mind that there will need to be a few exceptions to the "two series per homestand/road trip" rule. It won't line up correctly unless the occasional three-series trip is allowed.

Thanks, that works.

To clarify - what day of the week do you want to start on? (Starting on exactly Monday is impossible because of the Wednesday off days.)

****, I didn't check this post. Let's move off days to Thursday.

I've hit a hitch with home series scheduling, so I don't think I can take this one.

why don't we remove the home/away thing?

Reaching back in the forum here... Not sure the original interest in it remains. But it was a good opportunity to work on some things. In particular, at the core is a 16-team balanced double round-robin. That made for a nice experiment with trying to minimize both single-series homestands/roadtrips and lengthy homestands/roadtrips, which is of particular interest for me.

That sounds right

I love that you're still here for this—I can't make it on my own. Do you want to try making it? |
