Negro League

1920 is around the corner and the Negro League is set to debut. A question: Do the African Americans automatically get put in that league or can anyone set up shop in any of those teams.

Its hard to get them in the league if you can not see them, ie no picture. . But I will populate them with my normal minor leaguers.

and Hispanics as well. The color barrier if on also keeps them out of the major leagues. If off they get to play.

Are Negro Leagues included somewhere in OOTP19?

If you start a Historical League 1920-1955ish, they are a minor league with real players. You can select color barrier then to my knowledge they go to their real teams. Silvam and others have most of the ballparks like Mulebach & Rickwood.

1920-1948

I think the original question was different. I think the answer is: if you turn off the color barrier - which you find under Rules - then I think white players could also sometimes end up on a Negro League team, as they are converted into another minor league. I am not sure of this.

Royalsusedtorule - the answer to your question is that if you play a historical league and include historical minor leagues when you are setting it up, you have the Negro Leagues, as Spritze points out, from 1920 to 1948. If you shut off the color barrier, some of those players will end up in the majors.

only African and Hispanic players will appear in the negro leagues whether the barrier is on or off.

Interesting tidbit. Heavy Johnson won Rookie of the Year in the AL for 1920.

Even if you also turn off "Negro League Rules"?
