I get that attention pop up before I can sim a day, what does this mean?

There's a problem with a few NHL teams mis-counting the number of players under contract (it's not applying the rule that 18/19-year-old players under contract but loaned to major junior teams don't count against contract limits.) So the teams start with more than the allowable 50 contracts and have to release a few players at the start. It'll be fixed in the next build.
