EC. I don't think we'll have enough time left in this world to see the IPA reach 100 seasons unless you start basically quick-simming seasons very soon. You're at 66 seasons, with 34 to go, and I doubt very much that we may have more than another two or three years left, if even that, in this world before going Home, if we go Home in the near future. The King is coming, and I don't think it will be too much longer before He returns to make all things right. I honestly think that we're most likely in the very late homestretch of this life, so let's each try to finish our lives strong, as best as we can, just like Paul did. CD out.

I'll just take it one day at a time... and do the best I can with each day... trying to bring praise and glory to God by the things I think, the things I say and the things that I do.
Christy Lane did a wonderful gospel song in the 70s... "One Day at Time". One day at a time sweet Jesus That's all I'm asking from you. Just give me the strength To do everyday what I have to do. Yesterday's gone sweet Jesus And tomorrow may never be mine. Lord help me today, show me the way One day at a time. Chisekoko Probes items
4 Attachment(s)
Here are some items I've made so far for the Chisekoko Probes. As for logos, others may have to make them here, of course, in truth, given my current inability to make even basic logos for any of my teams. That is all. CD out.

Mochuku Terriers items
4 Attachment(s)
Here are some items for the Mochuku Terriers, a Double A-level farm team for the Tracyton Huskies of Slaabovia in the Sartagaron Heritage Confederation. Using a generic pair of logos for them currently, but would prefer to use at least one non-generic one for them, if at all possible, of course.
Most of the teams in the Sartagaron Heritage Confederation may need some logos made for them. The ones that don't have already been stated, in any case. I don't think I'll be able to do satisfactory logos for them just yet, unfortunately, so others may have to do them, it seems. I'll write more and all later, if and when I can, Lord willing, I'm sure. Hope you like these, everyone. Please feel free to comment as you like and can, within reason and all, then, if you don't mind too much here. CD out. |
Lexington Colts items
4 Attachment(s)
Here are some items for the Lexington Colts, a minor league affiliate of the Benclimil Chargers in Slaabovia's Sartagaron Heritage Confederation. It's not likely I'll be able to do reasonably good logos for them in the near future, though. Someone else may have to make logos for them, if I can't find or make any sufficiently good ones for them myself, in truth. Hope you like these items. That is all. CD out.

Chiyocombe Cubs items
4 Attachment(s)
I'm reposting what I currently have for the Chiyocombe Cubs' home and away uniforms, so you can see them in the same post as the two new caps I've just made for the team in question from Slaabovia. Hopefully they'll match up well, and look quite good in-game, if used by people often enough and all. No logos made for them yet, and I don't necessarily want to stick with Chicago Cubs-style or Chicago Cubs-related logos for them, in truth. Chiyocombe's Cubs are part of the Shmala Bears organization, for your information, everyone. That is all. CD out.
P.S. I don't know why the whitish-pink spots are appearing here on the picture for their away cap, but they shouldn't, and I don't think they're showing up in the Ballcap Creator picture, either, for sure. CD out. |
Just need to do at least one cap for the Wyoming Voyagers, and then every team except the All-Star teams will have caps for them in the entire Sartagaron Heritage Confederation. As for logos, all regular teams for the SHC except for the Turtlewood Turtles and the Yorktown Bandits will still need some made by others, most likely, if I can't find or make them myself somehow here.
I also will need logos for the SHC's subleagues and divisions, as well, it seems. Specifically the Holen North Division, the Holen South Division, the Wellnitz North Division, and the Wellnitz South Division, in terms of divisions. And the Holen League and the Wellnitz League for the subleagues of the SHC. As for the SHC's logos, I'll probably be posting a related request sometime in the near future, although i don't know just how soon that may be, of course, folks. Please stay tuned for future developments related to potential graphics needs for the SHC or any part or element of it, then, if you like and can. Will write more later, if and when I can and/or need to, Lord willing, of course. CD out. |
First of all, I'm glad you've made it fifty years with your wife, EC. May He who made you both grant you more time together in this world before you go Home, as He wills, I hope.
I've not been posting for a bit because I've actually been making at least some progress on my main story, after being stuck on it for a bit of late. I hope to somehow finish the current chapter by the end of the month, but I'm not sure yet whether I'll be able to do that, in truth. For there's at least half the chapter remaining to write, I believe. And I'm currently three chapters behind with my planned writing schedule for said story, too, unfortunately. But the story will come as it comes, whether fast or slow, you know, folks, as the Lord wills and all, I'm sure. I have been also thinking about recent events, and many things in the Bible, for instance, a good deal of late. And it seems that I'm getting the impression that very soon, many dangerous things are going to happen for a lot of people, things that are much worse than have ever happened before. Many may die, and I may possibly be among them, for whatever reason or reasons in the coming months or years, I think. Time is short, and getting increasingly short, for many people in this world. Even me, no doubt. So I will do what I can prepare for what is to come in the future, as best as I can. And I will try to finish my own personal life's race to Home strongly, as best as I can, in hopes that I'll ultimately get to see my Lord, when my time on Earth as a mortal man is finally over and done, for all eternity yet to come. I will still try to get as much as I can done for a possible quickstart by my birthday on February 11th. But I also know I won't likely be able to make the still-needed parks or logos, especially if I'm also working on my stories and/or trying to periodically help my elderly parents or reading my Bible daily, for example. IF any of you may want to help me out here, please feel free to consider attending to any team mentioned here in this thread that may not yet have logos made for them, if and when you like, folks. I can make the uniforms and caps, obviously, but unless I'm able to somehow recolor logos as needed, I can't really do much with them myself at this point. And I still can't get the hang of either Pickoff or the Ballpark Construction Kit, unfortunately, to be sure. Will write more as time allows and all, Lord willing, of course, folks. Until then, please try to stay as safe and as healthy and as peaceful as you can, even if you may be upset about certain recent events and all. There is a God in Heaven above who will make all things right in due time, as He wills, for sure. And He will deal with the evildoers, no matter who they are, in His timing, and according to His plan, not in ours, and not according to our plans. Rest assured in the fact that all this trouble will not last forever, for sure. One day, it will all end forever, and true and everlasting peace will reign once and for all, all over His entire Universe. CD out. |
Wyoming Voyagers items
4 Attachment(s)
Here's what I have for the Wyoming Voyagers of Slaabovia at the moment, in terms of uniforms and caps, with the caps just made a few minutes ago as I now type this. But I still will need some logos for them, no doubt, folks. If you feel you might be ready, willing, and able to make some suitable enough logos to go with them, you're more than welcome to try, of course. That is all. CD out.

I'm beginning to work on including a version of the North American Baseball Association for this potential quickstart I'm working on now, with the following teams and subleagues. I may need some help with the necessary graphics and/or parks fort them, of course. But here are the teams and subleagues in question for it that I have in mind at present. I will do as much of the remaining graphics for it as I can, but certain things I may still need help on, for sure.
Union League: Augusta Colonials (Need everything, with main colors being purple, blue, and green) Birmingham Stallions (Nothing needed at present) Boston Pilgrims (Nothing needed at present) Brooklyn Robins (Nothing needed at present) Charleston Miners (Nothing needed at present) Kentucky Colonels (Nothing needed at present) Nashville Blue Sox (Have several items for them already, but I still need some options using blue, orange, and red as main team colors) Washington Generals (Nothing needed at present) Victory League: Chicago Winds (Need everything, with main colors being black, red, and blue) Memphis Pilots (Need everything, with main colors being gray, red, tan, and blue) New York Bombers (Need everything, with main colors being navy, silver, and red, with some similarities to the New York Yankees, but not completely similar to them, of course) New York Empires (Nothing needed at present) Philadelphia Freedom (Nothing needed at present) Pittsburgh Pythons (Need everything, with main colors of black, gold, and a third color) St. Louis Blues (Nothing needed at present) St. Louis Scouts (Need everything, with main colors of blue, brown, and a third color) Subleague logos should be undated, if possible. Quickstart will begin with the 1901 season, so please take that general timeframe into account, if you decide to help me here, folks. I will post what I have at present, either in this thread or others, as needed, for each team, so you can all see what I have right now for each team, or will have by the times I post all the necessary images and all here on the forums. Please stay tuned for the necessary posts in whatever thread or threads they'll be required for. Again, I will do what I can by myself, first, before asking for help from the rest of you, so I hopefully don't upset any of you guys too much here, for sure, needlessly. But I still will likely need at least some help with certain related matters, in any case. Thank you all for your time and all, then. I hope that when I'm finally done with making this quickstart, you all will come to enjoy it at least a good deal, if at all possible, somehow. It may take a while, though, to completely gather everything needed for it and all, in any case. So please stay tuned, and try to remain patient and all as you await its completion here, then. Okay, everyone? CD out. |
EC, if you still have the original numbers and all that you had for the Blue Sox players and all from the Duane Decker series of books, I'd like you to let me see them, if possible, so I can fill up the Nashville Blue Sox with them as possible, please. As for the other teams, I'm going to try to figure out which players to import using a text file for those other fifteen teams. It may take a while, of course, but I'll still see how long it takes for me to fill the rosters for those other fifteen teams besides the Blue Sox, somehow, if I can.
Thank you in advance for any possible assistance you may be willing and able to provide here for the Blue Sox, at least, then, EC. CD out. |
I am currently in the process of creating a file of players to start the proposed quickstart's North American Baseball Association's teams with. I'll try to keep the known real-world star players out as much as I can and use certain players most may not have heard much of, at least at first, for balance's sake and all. Although some may still slip through from time to time, just the same.
I will stock fifteen of the NABA teams with real-world players, as best as I can, before I generate fictional players for them. If EC helps me out with the players for the Blue Sox, I will use the data he gives me to incorporate them into the NABA as well, of course. Otherwise, I will have to fill the Blue Sox with either real-world players or fictional ones, if not both, obviously. I will try to give each NABA team 30 players to work with, including the Blue Sox, to start with, and then see where things go from there, for sure. I'm currently working on filling teams, however. And hopefully by tonight or sometime tomorrow, I'll be able to have at least 450 players filling out at least 15 of the teams, if not all 16, in the NABA, somehow. I'll keep you all posted as needed and possible and appropriate, and maybe I'll even try to come up with some graphics for at least a few of the teams that may still need some graphics in the NABA here, as well. I'll write more later, as time allows and all, if possible, folks. Thank you for your time and all here, then, for sure. CD out. |
Making progress on the file in question from which I will import many players for various teams in the NABA of this quickstart. Five teams are currently stocked in the file in question, out of fifteen, in terms of having at least thirty real-world players present per team with that file, through use of their BB-Ref IDs. But that still won't fill the Nashville Blue Sox roster, in any case, if I don't select real-world players for them to start with as well. I'm hoping to include the Blue Sox players, at least, if not also coaches and/or managers, from Duane Decker's series of books, but I'll probably need help in order to do so reasonably well, of course.
Will write more later, as I can, but just wanted to give you a progress report on things related to this potential quickstart for the NABA at present, that's all, everyone. Thank you for your time and all, then. CD out. |
Seven NABA teams now have at least thirty players listed for them in the necessary file. I'll certainly try to get at least another 240 or so players listed in the required file for importing by sometime today or tomorrow, if I possibly can. I'd like to be able to include the various Blue Sox players from Duane Decker's books, but I will need the appropriate data to do so well enough. If I can't get that data from anywhere, though, I'll have to fill the Nashville Blue Sox with various real-world and/or fictional players, of course.
Will write more later, as time permits and all, Lord willing, then, everyone. Until then, I'll close this post. CD out. |

You have not gotten any response here in this thread... no one seems to be interested in your quickstart. If there is an interest in the quickstart, interested parties need to post it here... otherwise I wouldn't pursue it if I were you... unless you just want to play the NABA by yourself... if you intend to play the NABA, too, then, by all means, create it. |
The NABA is going to be part of the quickstart I'm working on, along with MLB and an affiliated minor league, the SRL and its two minor leagues the CKU and the SHC, at least. I do not yet know how many leagues will be part of the quickstart, however. I'm thinking of including at least one or two other leagues in the quickstart, but probably not more than about another five leagues, if even that. I may decide to create a version of the IPA, even, in the quickstart, but not sure yet.
I'll see what I can do by myself for teams that still need graphics, but most of the teams probably will be ones with graphics already made for them, I think. So far, I have 32 teams for the MLB, in two subleagues with two divisions apiece. The SRL has the original twelve, the CKU has twelve teams, and the SHC will have sixteen teams with four of them being unaffiliated teams. And the NABA will have sixteen teams present in two single-division subleagues consisting of eight teams each. Of course, it may take a while yet to complete this quickstart, especially if I'm finding myself doing a lot of writing for my various writing projects, for example. I have been working on this quickstart whenever I can find the time and whenever I seem to be stuck a bit on other projects or other matters around in my life, in truth. I'll see how much I can do by my birthday for this quickstart, but it may be a bit longer than that before I can finish work on it, just the same. I'm just trying to work on something here for the community that others might enjoy, and all, as a way to give back to the community, as best as I can, as a manner of respect and thanks for the help they've given me around here in the past and all. I haven't had much input either on various ideas here of late that I've posted in this thread, but I suspect that a lot of people have been fairly busy of late or something, and have not really been inclined to request things or comment on things here of late, for whatever possible reason or reasons. I am seeing the number of views increasing, for this thread, at least a little bit, though. Thank you for your time and attention and all, of course, EC. You are a good friend, and I'm glad to know you at least a little bit here, even though we've never actually met face-to-face, you know. CD out. |
Is there anyone on these forums interested in this potential quickstart I'm currently working on here, folks? If so, please let me know what you think and all, if you don't mind too much and all. Thank you. CD out.

Once I get the necessary players-related text file done, I'll see if I can't make up some graphics, or perhaps try and recolor certain logos I might find or already have, for teams that still need graphics in the NABA. I'm working now on the tenth team I'm stocking with real-life players for when it comes to the NABA, the New York Bombers. But I don't know if I'll have to stock the Blue Sox with players from outside the related book series yet or not, whether real or game-created ones, to be sure.
The teams I've not yet added players to the file for here are the New York Empires, the Philadelphia Freedom, the Pittsburgh Pythons, the St. Louis Blues, and the St. Louis Scouts. But maybe by the time I go to bed tonight, I'll have been able to add enough players to the file for them, somehow, I hope. We'll have to see, though, of course. Okay, time to go back to work here, then, and see what i can do here for everyone, it seems, everyone. Will be back later, if and when possible, and all, you know, Lord willing. CD out. |
Four NABA teams left to include players for in the player list-related file, other than the Nashville Blue Sox, now. I"m hoping to have them all taken care of by sometime tonight or tomorrow morning, if possible. Will keep you posted on my progress and all, as I continue to work on this potential quickstart.
Am thinking of including at least one Japanese baseball league as part of it, but not sure if I can find enough high-quality Japanese Hall of Famers to help fill out the rosters with easily enough. I might need help in terms of getting them to import properly, and if so, I'll certainly let you all know as needed, I'm sure, folks. Again, I will try to do all the necessary teams' remaining needed graphics as best as I can, if they're not already made and/or findable, for this quickstart, but I might still need help with logos and/or parks, of course. If so, I'll let you all know as I can and all, somehow. CD out. |
EC, I have all the other NABA teams filled besides the Blue Sox, but it wasn't necessarily without at least some effort, because I couldn't mass-import some players with many other players for some likely unknown reason or reasons. I had to import a few of the chosen players one at a time, unfortunately, in truth.
I hope you still have the original data for at least the following players from the Blue Sox books by Duane Decker. If you don't, then I"ll probably have to find at least fifteen to twenty real-world players to fill out their roster with, it seems. The players I'm looking for in particular are as follows, at least: Johnny Madigan Eddie Lasky Chip Fiske Kennie Willard Pete Gibbs Bud Walker Buster (Stretch) Stookey Russ Woodward Andy Pearson Mike Jaffe Vic Scalzi Sam Sloat Vic Valenti Bix Hanson If I've not listed others from the books, or forgotten their names, maybe you can help me fill out the roster at least a little, with other players, if you like and can, EC. As for Jug Slavin, I don't know what I should put for him, in terms of details for him, just yet, if I'm able to have him running the Blue Sox, of course. Will write more later, I hope and expect, Lord willing. Thank you for your time and attention and all, you know, EC. CD out. |
