Some new items for the Globe-Oracle Hogs
4 Attachment(s)
This particular team may need a good deal more work done on their various uniforms, of course, later on, but this is what I have so far for the Globe-Oracle Hogs, in any case, at present. No caps have been made yet, but they will come when they come, in due time, I'm sure, and Lord willing and all. That is all. CD out.

It may be a while before I do a team for Mesa here, but please try to be as patient as you each possibly can, and I'm sure I'll ultimately think of some way to do a set for them. Plus I've also started making up at least one potential bonus team's set, but you'll have to all wait until I finish the first twelve sets to see what team or teams that set or those sets will be from, folks. I hope you will be pleasantly surprised when I reveal that bonus team or those bonus teams, for sure, of course. That is all for now, at least, I think. CD out.

Some new items for the Mesa Sunfires
4 Attachment(s)
Here is what I have so far for the prospective Mesa Sunfires, at least in terms of uniforms, folks. I'll probably need to work more on their complete uniform set along the way, of course, and I don't yet have any caps made for them, in truth. But caps will come for them as soon as possible and all, I'm quite sure, Lord willing and all. Hope any or all of you may like these enough to perhaps use in your various games and all, obviously. But if you don't, then so be it. That is all. CD out.

Thinking of making up to 20 teams for you, Koohead, to choose from for your version of an Arizona-based league. I don't think I've made any caps for any of the teams I've been working on, or may work on later, yet, but I've done things for eight of the listed teams so far, in any case. I already have some work done on a potential bonus team, but am not yet done working with them here.
You'll have to wait and see what locations and what team names might be part of the collection of bonus teams, just as everyone else will, of course, but hopefully you will like what you see well enough. I'm going to try to create teams from locations all over the state, in truth, but we'll all have to see just how well I can do items for them, which can go along with logos others might make for those teams as well, obviously. The teams with already-posted items should be quite colorful to see, I think, and I have ideas for other teams not yet posted, for sure. Nogales-Tombstone will likely be the next already-listed potential team to be done here, and I really hope that you'll like their look as well, once I ultimately share it here. Until the next post from me here, then, I'll close this one. Thank you all for your time and attention here, everyone. Koohead, I hope you really enjoy using these items I'm doing for you here, of course. If you actually do come to use them for a potential Arizona-based league, whether Fall League-related or not, I definitely do hope you can put together a really good dynasty report featuring any or all of those teams you'll have chosen to use for it that we can all enjoy really well, for sure. CD out. |
Some new items for the Nogales-Tombstone Miners
4 Attachment(s)
Here is what I have for the Nogales-Tombstone Miners so far. The lighter/brighter ones are likely to be used when they're representing Nogales, while the darker/dimmer ones are likely to be used while representing Tombstone. More uniforms likely to come for this team, if and when time permits and all, Lord willing and all, of course. No caps yet, and I might need someone to make at least one or two logos for this team, but we'll deal with that sort of thing later, if and when we can, I'm sure. That is all. CD out.

Hey CD,
What font do you use for cursive, sort of like the Orioles do? I also dig those third miners jerseys. I installed them in game, and it looks really good. Thanks! |
No idea yet how I'm going to do the Phoenix Tricksters, but may need to change the color of certain letters that may be used, so that they're not all the same color on the finished product lines for them, I think. May have to do that after I do the base uniform, perhaps, or might not. Don't know yet, to be completely honest with you all here, folks.
Here are some team nicknames I'm considering for the likely bonus teams, besides the one I've already begun work on. I'd like your opinions on them, if I may have them, please, folks: Paddlers Rafters Wildfires Reds Wrens Blues Buzzards Thespians Ranchers Rock Hounds Fiddlers Racers Monsoons Mall Rats Now I won't say where teams with those nicknames might play, mind you, but what do you think of these potential nicknames here, folks? Especially when you consider the other names already picked out as potential team names and already posted here, as follows: Howlers Flyers Bridgers Pioneers Cowboys Engineers Hogs Sunfires Miners Tricksters Strikers Heatwave Hope to see some more input from you all here, of course, folks, as time permits and all, for sure. But for now, I"ll have to start trying to figure out how to do the Tricksters reasonably well, I think. That is all. CD out. |
BNN, I try to use a wide variety of fonts for my designs that the Lord leads me to create, but some fonts are more difficult to work with than others, no doubt, for various reasons. Which means often that I have to look for better fonts to use with certain teams, for sure, if not always.
Please look at post 199 in this thread, and please try to respond to it soon, as you like and can. Thank you. CD out. |

Look for free fonts on the various font archive sites that you can find. Fontspace is good, as are certain others, BNN. Just look on those sites, and you may find some you like, and all. Of course, many fonts may cost money to get and all, but that's to be expected at times, you know. CD out.

Some new items for the Phoenix Tricksters
2 Attachment(s)
Here are the available uniforms for the prospective Phoenix Tricksters as they now stand for me here. Unfortunately, it seems that I won't be able to have each letter in the appropriate text be different colors as hoped for and all, folks. Or at least not for a while, anyway, if at all, around here. I mean, I won't likely be able to do it myself here, that is. But if anyone else can help me out here somehow, I'd certainly be most appreciative of their help, to be completely honest with everyone here. That is all. CD out.

I like the nicknames you came up with...they generally all have a AZ/Southwest feel to them. One to throw out there...when we have big bag dust storms, they call them Haboobs. That would be a fun team to have....for obvious reasons. :D
|
Which prospective team's potential look do you like the best so far, perhaps, koohead? Just wondering, that's all. Please let me know, if and when you like and can. Hopefully someone can help me out at least a little bit with the Phoenix Tricksters here too, of course. CD out.
|
Big bag, or big bad? And no, I'm not going to call a team that, but I might call them the Dusties or something, I think, instead, if I do some suitable enough alternate items for any team. I'm not willing to do certain bits of wordplay that might possibly be considered as being of a double entendre-type nature, for sure, in any case. CD out.

The rage of the graphics forum, eh? That's a new one there, for me, I think, or whatever you said, EC. I'm not really a raging member of the forum, am I? CD out.

CD, you should have put the reply in the thread where this was posted... not here... no one here will understand what you are talking about. I was just teasing you with the comment... I meant you are the latest rage on the graphics forum... that means you are popular, not angry. For other viewers, I was recapping my dynasty league after two months of play... here is what I posted... I was giving credit to CD for the Hillsboro Blazers doing well in their brand spanking new custom-designed jerseys created by the "Rage of the Graphic Forum, CD"... the Hillsboro Blazers are a poor team in my Islandian Pro Alliance... I was giving CD credit for their relatively good season so far and was kiddingly implying that the team was better because of CD's new unis.. Here is the post: "Other lackluster losers that were not well-regarded by the baseball pundits and prognosticators this season that are doing well so far, are the Elnora Clippers (27-26), running a close third in the RU East... the runner-up Volusia Vigilantes (31-22) and the fourth place Stoner Silver Sox (28-25) in the tight RU West race... the fifth place Hillsboro Blazers (26-26) in the TU East (the Blazers got beautiful new jerseys custom designed by the latest rage on the OOTP Graphics Forum, CD)... the second place Denton City Redbirds (33-20) and the third place Bay St. Clair Buccaneers (32-21) in the TU West." |
OK. but was trying to stay out of your dynasty thread, at least a little, so that I'd not be as likely to potentially cause trouble for us all again like I did before. I've certainly gotten better over the past several weeks and months and all, but still didn't want to take a possible chance at an accidental slip up. That's all. Understand? CD out.

And definitely, you have done well by staying away from other people's threads... that will keep you out of trouble... just post in your own threads and there shouldn't be any problems. You never want to hijack a thread or dominate a thread unless it is on topic and strongly related to the subject of the thread. I have to really watch myself so that I don't hijack someone else's thread... I have occasionally done that and had to apologize for it. |
I still take many things too literally at times, I'm sure, EC. No doubt it's at least partly due to my Asperger's Syndrome, for instance, where I may miss the periodical nuances people may unconsciously include in their statements and whatnot as they live their lives in this world God created thousands of years ago out of sheer nothingness. I don't often read body language well many times, I think, too. Nor do I understand why people often say or do or think the things they do either, for that matter.
Thank you for clarifying what you actually meant when you mentioned me earlier in the post. Humor, unless it's something that I've come up with and all myself, often escapes me, in terms of understanding it and all. Especially certain supposed bits of humorous material that isn't wholesome and all, for sure. We'll talk more with each other sometime later, I'm sure, Lord willing and all. Please do try to stay safe and all, as best as you can, in these times that the Lord is still allowing for us all to test us and to see if we actually love Him as much as we might say we do, et cetera. CD out. |
Now if I'm not otherwise occupied today with various things, I'm probably going to try and do a lot of writing today, so that I can hopefully catch up at least a bit to the planned writing schedule for Lighting Up the Darkness. I'm way behind on it, for various reasons, and I think it's going to be a challenge the next few days or weeks or whatever to gain back some ground on that planned writing schedule I currently have for it.
I was hoping to finish chapter twelve today, but that's not going to happen. I'm still working somewhere in chapter eleven, in truth. And the chances of me being completely caught up with that schedule by Thanksgiving at the earliest, to be completely honest with you all here, really don't look too good for me at the present time. I don't know how soon I'll be popping out more items here, but I hope to soon, if at all possible, folks. Come to think of it, BNN, I'll see if I can think of some way to do the team you requested in Nassau fairly well as soon as I can and all. I'll continue with the other promised and potential bonus teams once I'm done with Phoenix, as well, Koohead, at least from a uniforms-related standpoint. I'm still waiting as well for kq76's input on the newest items I've made in relation to his earlier-requested team called the Vice City Electrics. When I get some more input from kq76, and am able to do more for Phoenix or get help on Phoenix, and am able to find the time and inspiration and all, I'll put more new things up here, as soon and as best as I can. In the meantime, I may post certain other items I may have already posted in other threads on these forums, just so you know, everyone. Until the next post, then, I'll close this one. I'll probably be quite busy with a number of things for a while, including my story, so please try to be patient and understanding with me here, if I don't produce newer stuff here for a while at times, everyone. Thank you for your time and attention and all here, then, for sure. CD out. |
