This league has a backstory from 1871-1900. We have just begun our third season (January 1903), with the American League and National League having merged into one grand association. Thus far, the Boston Americans and New York Giants have each won one title.

Currently the New York Highlanders (eventual Yankees) are vacant.

The Pirates have a top 5 Budget, with the available money of all teams. Offseasons see introduction of top tier FAs each year.

The team made the ALCS last season, with a 1B that won the AL Triple Crown. However, Boston has spent a lot of money and is looking to recapture the East.

This is a league that looks to incorporate real life events (war, strikes, Free Agency, draft) along approximately the real life timeline.

Sim Frequency: Sims on Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat during the evening. Somewhat faster sim pace in the off-season. Regular season games are live-simmed.

How are we different from many other leagues: We have 20 development lab slots using the less difficult and larger improvement settings. If you enjoy managing your top prospects and improving your farm system, this would be a great league for you.

League Description - We are currently headed toward the end of the 2039 season. For new GMs we allow one dropped contract of their choosing.
