I recently started a historical franchise 24-25 in FHM 12, so last season in this years game. I was the San Jose Sharks who had a weird offseason with only 16 players out of 50 under contract. The game started with the contracts for some of those 16 contracts were well over what they are in real life. Macklin Celebrini on his entry level deal was getting 6 million per.

There is 9 players out of the 24 players that were drafted that were just never signed. And somehow there is... Im trying to figure this out. Syl Apps got drafted in the 1965 draft we are currently july 10th 1965 so he was just drafted and somehow i can sign him as a minor league team in the CHL.

I have run into an issue where once I have $195,000,000 in player cap, the game will not allow me to advance any father in the off-season (June 27th to be exact ). I had planned on trading some larger cap high quality players closer to the draft to secure a higher draft pick. I have done this in every year and ever version of the game until the point I reached this high in cap.

Edit: Can you please explain how I am over the cap ( 160mil ) but it says that I still have cap space?

So then when I try to load my save, I get a long pause on import players, and then it finally crashes on 64% on finished loading. This has happened across multiple saves among other issues, such as the game crashing when I try to sim the first game and getting an invalid database version message when I try to load a game.

I have tried just about everything I could think to resolve these issues and while they work temporarily, after a while the game eventually resets all the settings and then begins crashing again. I have tried reinstalling the game a number of times, resetting Windows permissions, running the game as administrator, replacing the continents file in my save with a new one, loading the backup files, removing the face pack I downloaded, among others. These all ended in either a temporary fix or no fix at all. Just looking for any help I can get because I really enjoy playing this and have been frustrated with it not working properly.

I watched a video on how to get everything set up with expansion, but when I went to create farm teams for them, this error message came up. So apparently I can't even create farm teams? I can't figure out how to get my team's budget to increase. I have been the regular season champion 5 seasons in a row, and won the championship 3 times in a row. I have:

- Raised ticket prices steadily each season
- Increased attendance each season
- Saved up tons of $ points throughout the year each of the past 5 by being stingy with scouting & morale and keeping attendance bonus at 0.
- Every year my owner takes most of the profits, and the team's actual finances/free agent $ goes DOWN, despite being dominant and the above.
