We rallied late to win it for the second day in a row and extended our win streak to 5. C Jeffrey Lewis tied it with a one-out RBI double in the 8th and PH Daniel Hunter gave us the lead with a two-out RBI single. Leadoff hitter, 2B Barry Evans reached base 4 times (2 singles, a walk, and a ROE) for us and scored twice.

Make it four in a row. Our offense was dead for most of the game. After 7 innings we had managed just two singles. But, with 1 on and 2 outs in the 8th, we finally started hitting. The next 5 batters hit their way on and we plated 6 in the inning. PH Barry Evans tied the game with a RBI single and 3B Fred Harmon gave us the lead with a two-run HR.

Game 5 of a first round series against the Cubs. Down 1-0 in the bottom of the first, up comes my light hitting LF (10 career HRs in 7 seasons). Hits a two run HR to give me the lead. Got to the seventh, and the Cubs tie it up. Up comes my LF again and he pulls another ball over the wall to regain the lead. In the ninth, my closer comes in and gives up a 2 run HR to surrender the lead. Bottom of the ninth, I get two quick outs, then their closer walks my pinch hitter and once again, up comes...
