- 9/1: PIT 4, LAD 11 - Burnett was roughed up (2 IP 6 ER) being pulled after giving up a grandslam to Hanley Ramirez in the 3rd inning and that was about all she wrote as our losing streak was pushed to a season high 5 games.
- 9/2: PIT 2, LAD 9 - Lincecum (5 IP 4 ER) was cruising through 5 but couldn't do anything in 6th as he gave up 4 ER as Joc Pederson was just about unstoppable (3-4 2 RS RBI) and Kemp (2-4 HR 4 RBI) powered the way for the Dodgers as we lost our 6th straight.
- Jeff Locke left the game in the 8th, he was diagnosed with a sore shoulder and will be out for 1 week.
- 9/3: PIT 2, LAD 1 - Castro pitched well (6 IP 1 ER) to earn his 11th win as McCutchen hit his 24th HR of the year and we finally got back into the win column.
- 9/5: PHI 2, PIT 5 - Liriano had great stuff through 5 innings (5.2 IP 1 ER 13 K's) to earn his 18th win of they year as Lowrie led the way offensively (2-3 HR 2 RBI) and Marinez earned his 13th save of the year with a perfect 9th.
- 9/6: PHI 3, PIT 11 - Burnett was dominant (8.2 IP 3 ER until giving up 2 in the 9th. Wallace, McCutchen and Snider all homered in the rout.
- 9/7: PHI 2, PIT 3 - Lincecum earned his 8th win of the season with a solid start (7.1 IP 2 ER). We broke through in the 4th with a 2 RBI single from Martin and a solo shot from Wallace. The bullpen was steady as ever asMarinez earned his 14th save with another perfect 9th inning.
