Bunker Hill 6, Trenton 4 (MEBL -- Low Minors)

Nice back-and-forth win in extras. We got off to a 3-0 lead on home runs from 3B Ken Jordan in the 2nd and CF Daniel Hartman in the 4th, but coughed up the lead in the 6th. SS Mark Goodwin tied it up in the 8th with a sac fly and put us on top in the 10th with a two-out two-run double. Maybe we can finish the year strong.

Freeburg 15, Bunker Hill 2 (MEBL -- Low Minors)

What goes around comes around. Freeburg got off to an early lead and never looked back. In the end they had amassed 15 runs on 18 hits. 1B Jacob Brown led the attack with 4 RBI, 3 of which came on a 3-run HR in the 2nd that put the game out of reach. Lead-off hitter, RF Chris Sanford got on base 4 times and scored 4 times.

Bunker Hill 12, Freeberg 5 (MEBL -- Low Minors)

We didn't have any trouble getting them in today. SP Anthony Waddell went just 5 innings for us but picked up the victory. 3B Mark Goodwin busted the game open with a 3-run HR in the 5th and a 3-run triple in the 6th. SS Eric Evans also had three hits for us. Freeberg actually outhit us 15-13, but never had a big inning.

Bunker Hill 4, Freeburg 2 (MEBL -- Low Minors)

Nice, low scoring win. We got all the offense we'd need in the 1st. RF Darrell Evans put us on the board with a RBI single and C Jeffrey Lewis added on with a 2-run HR. SP Zane Brady was once again very good for us. He lasted 7 innings, giving up just 2 runs on 6 hits, and improved to 4-1 on the year.
