TORONTO --- This morning a group, which included Don Cherry, Ron Mclean and others, announced the founding of a new league. Unlike other
hockey leagues this league is for sledge hockey. Sledge Hockey is an adapted version of hockey for disabled athletes.
The first commissioner Mike Shanahan said "We are happy to provide a competitive league for Disabled Athletes to compete in"
