Riot Tales 6: The Riot Organization
You know, I've been working on a "preseason review," and I think I might agree with you. I think I waited one slot two long before picking up a second starter, at least. *sigh*
Well, there are always trades! Or, uh, high draft picks!Posted 09-26-2009 at 08:10 AM by battists -
Riot Tales 6: The Riot Organization
I hate to say it but I think that rotation is going to be the downfall for the Riots ... good luck!Posted 09-26-2009 at 07:00 AM by Raffke -
Riot Tales 6: The Riot Organization
I dunno, every time I start a league, my first pick seems to suck. I'm terrible at this game.Posted 09-25-2009 at 06:27 AM by battists -

Riot Tales 5: The Big Decision
Yeah, after a quick look-through, Medina is possibly tops on my list.
I'm torn, because there are not many good catchers at all. There are two highly-rated catchers, but neither of them are all THAT great. So, I'd like to grab one, because I don't to end up with a sucky one, but there are much better players available overall...Posted 09-24-2009 at 12:21 PM by battists -
Riot Tales 5: The Big Decision
John 'Whizzer' Medina has awesome contact, gap and power ratings - only problem is he is 32 years old - you might get a few good (but expensive) years out of him.Posted 09-23-2009 at 11:05 PM by Raffke -

Recommended picks gratefully accepted. I get two picks in a row now, with a grand total of one SP in the fold.Posted 09-23-2009 at 09:06 PM by battists -
Riot Tales 4: The Night Before
LOL, that actually would be pretty cool.
I need to look into their demands. At this point I think that will play into this to a certain extent.Posted 09-21-2009 at 10:04 PM by battists -

Edwards, Erickson or Fullerton. I'd be tempted to go after Edwards, since lefty starters that can throw his kind of gas don't come around very often.Posted 09-20-2009 at 05:08 PM by timmermac -
Riot Tales 4: The Night Before
I hadn't even noticed Fullerton yet. My scouts have him 67/68/77/54/59 for his batting skills...
OSA likes him a whole lot more than my guys do!Posted 09-20-2009 at 10:32 AM by battists -

Riot Tales 4: The Night Before
Mike Fullerton would be my choice, a SS who can do just about everything.

Riot Tales 4: The Night Before
I would choose between Rich Ranby or Randy Erickson. It's always been my experience that you take the best starter first as there will probably be some good bats left when the choice comes around to you for the 2nd time therefore Rich Ranby would be my guy.
PS. This sounds really cool - keep it up!Posted 09-20-2009 at 04:11 AM by Raffke

Riot Tales 3: Ping Pong Balls of Fate
Just dropping a comment in to "test" the new system!
Actually, I might do this for myself in a very informal fashionPosted 09-19-2009 at 11:13 PM by Afino
