Rangers Hoping Trades Ignite Team

Rangers Executive Manager Riley Payton, in the midst of an up-and-down 40-42 campaign and a current four-game losing streak, decided some changes were in order before the 4 game deficit in the AL West increases.
Star infielder Toby Harrah has been demoted to AAA, hitting .213 this season with no homers. The team is hoping that Harrah can put his game back together and show some signs so he can get called up again after the all-star break.
The Rangers also traded disappointing 1B Enos Cabell, who has struggled at the plate and hasn't been able to garner much playing time. He was sent to the Padres for gifted CF Johnny Grubb, who is having a big season, hitting .312 with 35 RBI's thus far.
Disappointed with a multitude of errors at 2B from Tito Fuentes, the Rangers decided to send him and young OF Dick Sharon to the Expos for 2B Tim Foli and veteran LF Tom Hutton. Foli has poor plate discipline but sports and excellent infield glove. Hutton admittedly is older than the promising Sharon but is a steadier player now with better plate discipline.
