Nice win. Our winning streak is up to 5. SP Cliff Sanders had a good day. He pitched 7 good innings for the win. But he also went 3-for-3 at the plate and drove in our first 2 runs. SS Russell McDonald hit a two-run shot in the 7th and RF Steven Lewis hit a solo HR in the 5th. All-in-all a very nice day for our offense.

Bunker Hill 4, Lebanon 3 (MEBL -- Low Minors)

We got our runs early and hung on to extend our winning streak to 4. SP Skip Farr was the star for us, pitching 8 strong innings and driving in 2 at the plate in the 2nd with a triple. We still aren't hitting much (just 3 hits today), but we drew 5 walks and bunched our hits together. Lebanon is probably glad to see us leave town. We're 4-0 against them now.

We won and as an added bonus both Grafton and Trenton lost. SP Kevin Wright went 8 effective innings and got the win. All of our offense came on HRs. SS Russell McDonald hit a 3-run shot in the 1st and C Ray Monroe added a solo HR in the 7th. We're still hitting for a low average, but the last few games we've been drawing walks and hitting bombs. That's one way to do it.
