Last Week (4-2): 3-0 vs. COL, 1-2 vs. WAS
- 5/19: COL 4, PIT 9 - Lincecum battled control issues all game but managed to earn his 2nd win of the season. Marte tied it up in the 4th with a 2 run bomb and Russell Martin put us up for good in the 9th with a 3 run jack.
- 5/20: COL 4, PIT 5 - Nova had a rough beginning but ended up with a quality start (6 IP 3 ER). The game had an exciting finish as Russell Martin tied it with a solo homer with 1 out in the ninth, then McCutchen went back to back to walk-off.
- 5/21: COL 1, PIT 10 - Wandy went 8 only giving up 1 earned and McCutchen paced the offense going 3-4 with a HR 4 RBI and 2 RS to earn a sweep of the Rockies.
- 5/23: WAS 6, PIT 3 - Liriano gave up 5 ER in only 2/3 of an inning. Our bullpen held them to one run there after but even 2 HR's by Jed Lowrie wasn't enough to get us a win.
- 5/24: WAS 4, PIT 5 - We managed to win the battle of the bullpens after Lincecum (6 IP 1 ER) and Zimmerman (7 IP 1 ER) both made good starts but it was Davis's walk off homer that sent us home happy.
- 5/25: WAS 4, PIT 3 - Castro pitched a good game (7 IP 3 ER) and we battled back after Strasberg's dominance (6 IP 0 ER 10 K's) but in the 10th Bryce Harper singled stole 2nd and then 3rd base and caused so much havoc that Inoue crossed up Martin and the Nationals took the lead and the win.
