ROY HALLADAY’S 1ST START AS A MEMBER OF THE PHILLIES COULD NOT HAVE WENT BETTER. HALLADAY PITCHED A COMPLETE GAME SHUTOUT GIVING UP JUST 5 HITS WHILE STRIKING OUT 3 IN THE PHILLIES 7-0 WIN. HALLIDAY CAME OVER TO THE PHILLIES OVER THE WINTER IN A BIG 3-WAY TRADE THAT SAW THE PHILLIES TRADE AWAY CLIFF LEE. HALLADAY IS CONSIDERED BY MANY AS THE BEST PITCHER IN BASEBALL OR AT LEAST ON PAR WITH 2-TIME CY WINNER TIM LINCICUM.
