Today's entry, from Southern Michigan...the Hillsdale Artillery.

While the fire crews were handling cleanup, Mrs. Cobb, the dogs, and I had a jaunt through the area. Saturday night and early Sunday morning were a 'bit' hazy with smoke.

Tested some new ideas for gathering skyboxes, and if it worked out, it'll be a lot faster yet for me to collect pic's. Today is a lost cause as I'll be spending most of the day resetting the computer set-up. Yes, we grabbed our computers and a few other small electronics before clearing out. The dogs were with...

An imbecile ignoing an open burning ban and having a campfire mid-afternoon burnt over 4,000 acres just a short distance from the Cobb estate. We’re all ok, and the fire is 85% contained thanks to an area wide team effort! Our firefighters up here are great!

We’re ‘enjoying’ our second day without electricity. Taking the dogs and going for a ride.

Again, I can’t say enough about our fire crews. Even the State and Federal crews came. Bless ‘em all!
