Anybody know what obscene amount Roger Connor is selling for, in the unlikely event anyone ever does? Hadn't even seen the card before today when I was lurking the league player search looking for potential future acquisitions. Uber performance across the board for what looked like a full season, and only one guy having him suggested a tourney won 'ultra-rare', but nope, he's an HL drop.

I accept the ability creep the standard business model requires to keep the gambling addicted, otherwise disfunctional, and occasionally even very rich spending their money as a reality even as I despise it, but I couldn't help thinking back to Eddie Murray who I pulled and promptly sold when he was still worth something six months ago. Poor Eddie. The right gold cards sell for more now

He always seems to be in the team that wins my division in diamond.

Never seen this card for under 1 million in the auction house.

With the talent creep that happens throughout the season, I have to REALLY see a need for a card to spend more that 50K for it. I came close with McCarver about a month ago but the 93 OVR Mauer performed well enough and now the 100 OVR Mauer is crushing it for me. The upcoming ????? missions and the wrap up of FH3 will likely significantly shake up the lineups at the higher levels. Six spots on my roster have changed in the last two weeks with the TM3 missions and the most recent missions from Thursday. (MADDUX!!!)

Unlocking the FH3 missions (announced for Oct 28th) will require five components:
- Franchise Heroes #1
- Franchise Heroes #2
- Prime Performer
- Team Mission #3
- ??????? Mission (announced for Oct 14th)

Those of you who sold them, why did you do so? Were the points too much to pass up or is he better replaced with another player? He seemed to be the best 1b last year and it seems people think the same of him this year. Who are you using instead?

not that I have pulled one, but I'm 100% sure the answer is the former. A million or more PP tied up in one player doesn't make sense for most non-whales. He is definitely the best option available.

So am I. I'm not even sure it makes much sense for whales, unless they are confident they can acquire any future SP releases at will.
