importing uniforms from xml files

When importing uniform data from the xml files i noticed that even if set in the xml file the socks don't always import the png file but just set it to one of the default socks.

Generally it seems the non-mlb uniforms when loading or resetting the uniforms don't always load the home uniforms and sometimes caps etc.

Trying to figure out if its something wrong with the data within the xml file or if the game itself has some bug etc.

following the instructions in the readme files.

I found this out:
In the uniform configuration area, I can autoload the home and away socks fine. For alternate uniforms, I select the home sock.
*In game under the game options players tab, i go to export all the team uniform settings to the different xml files.
Checking one file I see this:
the alternate uniform is named "alternate 1990". The program generates in the xml file a line something like socks="atlanta braves alternate 1990". It does not insert the "atlanta braves home" file that I selected when configuring the uniforms.
So I've assumed at this point that since it does not see a file named "atlanta braves alternate 1990" it just defaults.
Next I will try duplicating files with "atlanta braves alternate 1990" etc.
Seems to be an issue.

I tried duplicating files didn't make a difference.

There definitely is an issue exporting all uniforms to xml files and then importing them back in. All the socks just go to default settings. The other parts of the uniforms seem to work just fine. Just the socks are not exporting and/ or not loading properly.

Sure looks like it's something to do with the game itself.
