New to OOTP

Hello,

I bought OOTP XX some time ago, but until now have not put much time into it.
My primary interest in the game is the Fictional League option.

I've played the Strat-O-Matic Windows game but wanted create my own teams and players - so here I am.

Are there any guides for creating your own fictional league in OOTP? Being new to the game, I am feeling overwhelmed by the interface and the number of options and detail. Looks like there is a solid community here and I look forward to digging deeper into what OOTP has to offer.

Use the set up options page as a guide and dig in. You'll see soon enough what you want.
