Lineups

Put a few fictional players in the 1987 California Angels team. Asked the Bench coach to set the lineups and depth charts. He did this, however when I go to play the game, these lineups are not there. How do I set these lineups to be used during my season? Thanks.

You may want to make sure you have not given the computer AI control over your lineups and depth charts in your manager options. If the AI still has control, I believe it can override the lineups and depth charts that you asked the bench coach to set. Once that is set correctly, you want want to ask the bench coach to create ALL lineups and depth charts and then check to make sure there are no daily lineups as well. If there are daily lineups set, those can also override the normal defaults.

Settings for who controls what are in the GMs settings section.

What do you mean the lineups "aren't there"? Where is there and is it blank or different?

To add further clarification in case you're not familiar with the menus, just click on your GM/manager name in the top OOTP menu and then choose Manager Options at the bottom of the list. When your Manager Options screen loads, the Team Control Settings will appear in the lower-right. There you can check and change the settings to determine whether you or the AI has control over certain things.

I have added a few created players to my team. Had the Bench coach set the lineups. When I try to start a game, the lineups that were set by the coach aren't there. The lineup I see at the start of the game does not have new players in it. There are still Daily Lineups om the Team (Angels) page that don't have the new players in them. I have "Do Not Disturb" turned off. I have set everything to the Manager in the Team Control Settings you referred to. Not sure what else to do. This worked in the "23' version but I can't see any difference in the set up then and now in the "24" version. Looks like I need to get rid of the Daily Lineups but have no clue as to how to do that. Thanks for any advice.
