With the increased complexity and structure to this year's content programs, someone suggested it might be a good idea to post a few pointers and clarifications when it comes to certain portions of the program.

The overarching progression system for this version of Perfect Team is called Franchise Heroes (this was explained during the reveal stream, but thought it would be a good idea to cover it again for those jumping in late or who prefer reading)

Over the course of the season, you will be able to complete a variety of mission programs and then lock-in the rewards to unlock a Franchise Hero as they are revealed.

Franchise Heroes will be made up of 3 Tiers (each MLB Team has 3 Franchise Heroes). In order to move to the next tier, you will need the reward card from the previous tier (ex. FH1 reward to complete FH2, FH1 & 2 to complete FH3)

Franchise Heroes requires you to lock CARDS, simply completing the missions will not work (with the exception of the toppers which require completion of the FH3 mission for each team).

Franchise Heroes will have divisional/overall toppers at the end of the final Tier 3 which will reward the ultimate collectors who are able to complete the entire program.

Below is an example of the progression for Franchise Heroes Tier 1 for the Blue Jays.

The Live Series of missions return!

Collect any 15 live cards for a team and redeem for a Gold Pack

Collect any 26 live cards for a team and unlock that team's Live Series reward (these reward cards are required as part of the Franchise Heroes program, see above)

Complete the 26-man missions for all 5 teams within a Division and unlock the Divisional Topper (Garciaparra, Verlander, Langston, Pendleton, Wilson, Sutton)

Complete the 3 Divisions and unlock the League Topper (Alan Trammell and Enos Slaughter)

Complete everything to unlock Live Series Reward 100 Cy Young

Build-A-Legend is a program that will let you collect cards of a particular player and unlock your way to a Perfect version of the card through a series of missions.

Each B-A-L player will have a Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond and Perfect card. The 30 Perfect cards will be 1 for each MLB team (a player's other cards may be for different teams from their career, but the 100's will be spread across the 30 teams)

The Perfect version of Build-A-Legend is required as part of the Franchise Heroes program, part 1 (explained above)

The B-A-L cards are fully sellable on the AH, but as the Silver through Perfect are unlocked through missions, the quantity of them will be limited to the number of teams in the PT universe who unlock them (these cards will not at any time be available in packs)

In order to complete a tier, you need to have the previous tier(s) B-A-L card(s) and complete the mission for that tier (example, to complete the Gold tier you will need the Silver and Bronze version of the B-A-L card and complete the Silver Mission for that player to finish the Gold Unlock mission)

So essentially, this gives you a few paths to completion for the program:
- Find the Bronze version, complete the 2 missions per tier and unlock your way to the Perfect version (or how ever far through the program you would like to go)
- Buy tiered versions of the cards from the AH and lock them to complete the mission for the next tier

Under either path, you will need to have the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond card in order to unlock the Perfect card. The more obvious path would be for people find the bronze and build their way to the end by completing each level of missions, but without making SE rewards unsellable (something we have no interest in doing) the option does exist for people to sell and buy the cards should other users be selling it.

Also, if you "buy into" a tier, you still need to complete the mission for that tier (example, you buy the Bronze, Silver, Gold & Diamond cards, you would still need to complete the Diamond mission) in order to unlock the Perfect reward)

This past week, we introduced our first 2 Limited Edition cards. We will be dropping 1 per week (on TWIPT) moving forward with the exception of a little Limited Edition promo we have planned for later in the year

Limited Edition is a series of cards that will be released over the course of the season. These cards can only be found in packs and will only be generated 25 times. After 25 have been created, you will no longer see them in packs.

Each card is individually numbered to let you know which one you have and are generated sequentially from 1 to 25. In the next patch, you will be able to see which number is for sale in the Auction House in the Card Type field

These cards are fully sellable on the AH but they are NOT available in Perfect Draft to keep them special for those who acquire them. There is no plans to include these cards as mission requirements for any future mission drop either.

The Historical All-Star missions are grouped by division. Completing a division will unlock each of the 5 Historical All-Star rewards for that division.

These rewards are used as part of the Franchise Heroes #2 program for each team (see Cardinals example below)
