MID-ATLANTIC REGIONAL
GAME 1

Recap:
It looked to become a horror outing for Rust Belt starter Brendan McKay as the lefty was tagged for four runs in the first inning. After surviving the second inning unscathed, McKay was eventually lifted after three innings of five run ball. His replacement Chris Vallimont was initially brought to mop up innings, but he did a formidable job by completing the final five innings in relief while giving up only one run. On the home side of things, Jordan Montgomery threw a quality start by going six innings deep for just the one run. Central Appalachia never looked like losing after going ahead on a two-run homer by Sean Murphy and the home team would go on to win 6-1 on solo shots by Brandon Lowe and Travis Shaw.

MID-ATLANTIC REGIONAL
GAME 2

Recap:
Northern Appalachia secured a comfortable 6-0 win at Nationals Park to advance in the winner's bracket of the Mid-Atlantic Regional. Five two-hit shutout innings by Justin Verlander paved the way for the visitors, who took a 3-0 lead in the 2nd inning and never looked back from there. On the Chesapeake Bay side of things, Zak Kent got an applause after throwing an impressive 76 pitches out of relief.

MID-ATLANTIC REGIONAL
GAME 3

Recap:
A cagey affair in Louisville got lit up by Andrew Benintendi and Taylor Ward who hit back-to-back bombs in the 6th to put the Central Appalachian visitors up for good. Walker Buehler, the star player of the Southern Appalachian hosts, had a good start by throwing 4.2 one-hit shutout innings. Why his manager decided to go to reliever Riley Thompson remains a mystery, as the reliever immediately got into trouble. The win went to JT Brubaker, who threw 6.1 shutout innings after opener Nick Bennett. With that win, Central Appalachia is the first team qualified for the Super Regionals out of the Mid-Atlantic Regional.

MID-ATLANTIC REGIONAL
GAME 4

Recap:
Two-run jacks by Nolan Jones (who would go on to have a two-homer night) and Phil Gosselin put Philadelphia up ahead early and the tandem of Charlie Morton and Ryan Castellani kept the Northern Appalachian visitors at bay for 6.2 innings. Despite having more hits, the visitors didn't score a run until the 8th inning. With that win, Greater Philadelphia is already guaranteed of the Super Regionals. They will face Central Appalachia in the next round. Northern Appalachia drops to the loser's bracket for a rematch with the Rust Belt.

MID-ATLANTIC REGIONAL
GAME 5

Recap:
Both teams scored two early runs, but it wouldn't turn out to be a head-to-head affair as five 3rd inning runs by Chesapeake Bay created a huge gap between the two sides. Chesapeake Bay will now face the winner of the Central Appalachia - Rust Belt matchup. Southern Appalachia is in the danger zone as they drop down and play an elimination game on Day 4.

MID-ATLANTIC REGIONAL
GAME 6

Recap:
Northern Appalachia pounded the Rust Belt to an eleven run shutout. The visitors jumped ahead on a Vinnie Pasquantino three-run homer in the 1st, added four more in the 3rd and after that... well, it got boring real quick. Daniel Lynch was one out away from a quality start and Jake McCarthy and Andrew Knizner both went 3-for-5. Northern Appalachia will now face Chesapeake Bay in a game that will have the winner qualify for the Super Regionals. Rust Belt, on the other hand, will now face Southern Appalachia in an elimination game.

MID-ATLANTIC REGIONAL
GAME 7

Recap:
Southern Appalachia took their final lifeline by defeating Rust Belt 5-1 in Louisville. 4.1 strong innings by starter Easton McGee paved the way for the home side, who jumped to a 2-0 lead in the 3rd on a two-run single by J.D. Mundy. The visitors pulled one back in the 4th, but Central Appalachia restored the lead to three before adding two more runs in the 5th. The bullpen then proceeded to give up only one run on two hits in 4.2 innings. It was a good day for the home side's bottom of the lineup, because Higgins, Forbes and Tomlin went 5-for-13 with two RBI. With that win, Central Appalachia's dreams stay alive, but the Rust Belt are the fourth side eliminated.

MID-ATLANTIC REGIONAL
GAME 8

Recap:
Northern Appalachia booked its way to the Super Regionals with a 6-3 win in Washington DC over Chesapeake Bay. After a strong firs three innings, the visitors neraly saw their meticulously crafted lead perish, but two 7th inning runs sealed the deal. Both starters faced early problems and were relieved by their bullpens during the 4th inning. Player of the game was Jake McCarthy, who hit a homer and a double for the visitors. Vinnie Pasquantino and Brenton Doyle also delivered with 3-for-5 nights..

GAME 9

Recap:
Taylor Ward became the hometown hero for Central Appalachia as the outfielder hit a three-run jack in the bottom of the 8th to win it for the home side after a tense game. Philadelphia opener Ryan Castellani and follower A.J. Alexy no-hit the home side well into the 8th inning before the nine-hole hitter Cullen Large broke it up with a single up the middle. That was the end for Alexy, who handed the ball over to Tim Mayza, who then gave up another hit to Adam Engel before an Andrew Benintendi sac bunt led to Taylor Ward's heroics.

MID-ATLANTIC REGIONAL
GAME 10

Recap:
Chesapeake Bay and Southern Appalachia showed the spectators why this was an elimination game. In a nailbiter in Washington DC, the visitors prevailed to remain alive in the American 50. That road will no longer run through the nation's capital, though, as the home team was eliminated in 10 innings. Both teams had their aces lined up, but both Cody Morris and Walker Buehler wouldn't turn out to be the headliners of this game. With the score 2-1 to Chesapeake Bay, the visitors carefully restored their 1st inning lead on some small ball runs. Daniel Hudson was then granted the save opportunity, but he gave up a run scoring single to pinch hitter Brett Renfrow to tie things up. In extras, Josh Hader gave up a three-run jack to Adam Duvall, who would turn out to be the hero for the visitors before Nick Robertson did cash in his save opportunity.

GAME 11

Recap:
Northern Appalachia beat Greater Philadelphia 4-2 at Citizens Bank Park on the wings of a brilliant start by Justin Verlander. The righty threw six near no-hit innings, getting backed up by four runs. The visitors were one out away from blanking Philadelphia, but Ray Black gave up a two-run homer to Chas McCormick.

GAME 12

Recap:
Greater Philadelphia took a convincing win over Southern Appalachia. Nolan Jones hit two doubles and a homer for five RBI to keep the home side in the race for the Regional title. Southern Appalachia finishes the Mid-Atlantic Regional in 4th place.
