I really hope that the game just gets a lot of work and improvements to it's interface, making things easier and quicker to do.
This is a very good game but everything still feels so fiddly, trying to find a trading partner, setting tactics, setting player roles, navigating through various screens ... it's just very awkward. I mean this constructively as I do enjoy the game, I just know it has the potential to be a lot better with more polish and thought. I'm looking forward to what's been done in FHM 6. |

is it possible to include all time stats for IIHF WC's and Olympics. Shouldn't be too hard, as you are partners with Eliteprospects

Please fix the mid-70s draft in historical mode.
Either way it won’t be completely historically accurate, so it doesn’t matter. So just modify it so that the 18 year olds in one year enter the draft the the 17 year olds enter the following year. Done. You now have two reasonably proper years of drafting.

Multi Team Trades?
Trades with other Leagues? Like for example Crosby to a Russian team for a Goalie,RW/LW or to All-Time Greats Rangers for Messier and so on. World Templates? So if we have one saved like Fictional or Historical or so on we can add it to existing NHL League. Historical guys in Drafts past 2020 one? DFA,Wavier Trades? The site of All-Star Weekend/Draft different each year? Futures Game? Insiders even Fictional ones that report rumors and so on same with Studio host and so on? Rosters like All-Time Greats or Past/Present Drafted by Teams?

News about coaches that are angry on reporters should appear more realistic. In my save after two games Tampa's coach was angry on reporters after his team had 1-1 record.

I would like to see a better distribution of players attributes. I mean, I see players with 2 Stars or less stars having several attributes with 17 points, for example. It seems there is a very small gap between a 1.5 Stars or 2 Stars player with someone with 5 Stars. Maybe, the max should be 50 so a 5 Stars player is almost 50 on each attribute while a 2 Stars player is around 20 on each attribute, not 17 while a 5 Stars player is 20 in the same attribute.
Also regarding players, I would like to see a better, faster and more complete development of younger players. If you try to build a team with young players will have to wait like 5 seasons to see that player increase 1 star while his potential is 3 or 3.5. I have players with 0.5 stars with potential of 3 and 3.5 but their development rhythm seems so slow that I believe they are not going to reach the potential before they get the peak year. I know this depends of my level and trainers level as well but still, players' development seems too slow and low that sometimes I think I'm forced to rebuild through Free Agency because young players take forever to improve. |

Two Things I Pray Are Fixed in FHM6
There are two things that annoy me to no end that I really really really pray are fixed in FHM 6....
Number one, and I can't even put into words how annoying this is... but for the love of God, once a sweater number has been assigned to the player can we please not have to re-assign it each and every time that player gets inserted into the lineup? I have had, in a single season, seven different stoppages in my sim in order to assign the exact same number to the exact same depth defensemen who comes up to fill in for injuries. This is absurd. I have given him #55. No one else on the team has #55. The crazy thing is, this is just for him being called up, he's not even playing. He has played two games, but caused seven different stoppages as I get a message having to assign him a number. This is nonsensical and beyond annoying. Please please please fix this. Number two, There is something incredibly redundant that happens when you have a player come off the IR. You get the message telling you there is a healthy player on your IR so you set your new lines, with that player now back in the lineup you press the button to sim again, and you get a message telling you that the player you have just inserted into your lineup is ready to play again. Yeah... I know, I just put him into my lineup. Please fix these two things... each time they happen I get more and more annoyed by them, particularly the assigning numbers thing.
