I sold Degrom after some test with it ...buy some pack and I hit George Pipgras...similar stats of Degrom but it sell for around 40k in the AH.
Same dilemma, keep it or sold it...next season will be better for the Angels.

Lucky run of packs, Zack Wheat (94) in the next pack after Pipgras.

We've won 10 of our last 12 and clinched a playoff berth, but Singapore has won 12 of their last 13, so we're 5 games back. We've got 6 of our last 12 games against them though, so at least there's an opportunity to claw some games back head to head. We're 7-4 against them so far in the season.

Ports Dawgs went nuts today while I was away...currently at 94-60
![]() Up by 12 games... Nolan Ryan continues to be lights out in the pen as Closer. 0.57 ERA ![]() The switch worked out for Ted Lyons as well as he is currently posting a 2.50 ERA which is leading the league. Looks like Diamond next year, time to start retooling

I'm limping into the playoffs having a record of 2-8 in my last 10 games and a record of 87-75 in the Iron .180 league finishing 1st in the NC West.. My bad finish caused me to finish one game out of being promoted.
Oh well, good luck to all of us who are in the playoffs on Sunday!

Welp, lost 4 of those 6, ended up at 101-61 and in the first wild card spot. Menifee and Broomfield at 89-73 are playing for the second spot. I did manage to at least set things up so that Maddux will be starting the wild card game. Maddux ended up with the most wins in the conference, going 24-5, and second in ERA by 3 hundreths to Singapore's Clemens at 2.73. Maddux also easily led pitchers in WAR at 7.7. Robinson was second in the conference at OPS at .910; both Ruth and Gehringer had a better OPS than the top player but Ruth joined late and Gehringer is in a platoon so neither had enough plate appearances to qualify. Sisler finished with the most home runs at 41. The Black Knights in G.317 finished at 82-80, 8 games back in the wild card race. Bagwell had a great season - 33 HR (6th in the conference), 124 RBI (2nd), 5.5 WAR (3rd), .314/.375/.553 for a .929 OPS (2nd). That's about it though. The Sun Kings in D.354 somehow won their division at 83-79 and will be the 3 seed. Slim chance of it happening, but it'd be weird if I made it to the perfect league with the mostly-live-reward Sun Kings but not the mostly-historical-perfect White Tigers. We led the conference in home runs but weren't really good at much else. Over in PT20, the White Tigers are back in the playoffs after a rare down season, going 108-54 to capture the 3 seed in P.418. Eck was more or less back in form, recording his highest save total in 61 seasons with the team, racking up 49 of them and making a good case to break into the double digits with a potential 10th reliever of the year award. The Black Panthers in D.453 racked up their most wins ever, going 104-58 and getting the 1 seed, the only team in the league to win over 100 games. We led the conference in average, OBP, starter ERA, and FIP, and Bob Gibson in particular was desperately close once again to a pitching triple crown, finishing with the top ERA and strikeout marks but ending up 1 game back in wins with 21; he will likely get his second straight Cy Young though. The Golden Lions in D.396 went 96-66, ending up with the 3 seed on a tiebreaker. No real standouts, barely any players on any stat leaderboards, but I guess we were reasonably solid top to bottom. So that's 5 playoff teams out of 6, one 1 seed, three 3 seeds, and a 101-win wild card. |

Coons win 97, fall one game short of the division title. Another wild card game. Yaay...
Mets finished 69-93 and last, hitch their wagons, and move back to Bronze, relegated by six games. They're terrible. Everything's terrible.

Paragon City Heroes finish 69-93 with a pythag of -13 but a positive run differential, we had one winning month. So many series ended with us losing 2-1 despite outscoring the opponents because we scored a ton of runs in one game and barely any in the other two, is that purely down to luck? anything I can do to make the run scoring more consistent? We stayed in diamond by 2 games
San Angeles 70s remain a mediocre gold team at 79-83, peak Blyleven had 20 wins Lowdown Lugnuts made the playoffs with a WC spot, but its a bit of a coin toss, and being brutally honest the worst thing that could happen would be promotion. the team was basically the George Sisler show, the team evolved offensively over the season as i brought in players who fitted more with what i wanted, the pitching did what i wanted with lots of Ks but the bullpen was definitely weaker than the starters ![]() 21st Century Fusion started the season as an ll Future Legend team, that was a catastrophe, and we were 7 games away from safety at the start of the last month, a change in personnel and a 16-10 month rescued us from relegation. Wander Franco was the one bright spot on the team

Wow Marleigh, you've been through some amount of players
![]() 87, 89 and 85 wins weren't enough for any of my teams to make the playoffs. All very competitive leagues. Did some speculating for the new missions with the Grackles, which turned out to be a bit of a disaster. I'm still scratching my head at some of the omissions, and licking my wounds ![]() Fortunately, pack only KB added Dan Brouthers and Monte Irvin this week, from about 300 packs. And Mount Hawke pulled their first 50k player to add to the team, so that's kept my spirits up a bit. Good luck to all the playoff teams.

Raccoons blast their way into the LDS with a 17-6 romp over the Knights.

Plan worked out as the White Tigers take the wild card game 4-1 with Maddux allowing 1 run on 6 hits and 2 walks in 7 innings, with Eck and Smith combining to allow 1 hit with 3 Ks in the 8th and 9th. We actually had fewer hits, with just 6, but we manufactured a run in the bottom of the third when Henderson drew a walk, was moved to second on a ground out by Lajoie, and managed to get home safe on a single by Yaz. Then in the bottom of the 4th, Sisler got to first on a single, stole second, was given third on a balk, and came in on a sac fly by Gehringer. Finally, in the bottom of the 6th, Yaz led off with a single and Ruth followed it up with a 2-run home run.
So we get our nemesis Singapore, who we had a 1 game edge on in the regular season, going 10-9. Looks like our pitching order will likely be Johnson-Paige-Maddux (100)-Guidry-Johnson; they have theirs set to strict order and a 5-man rotation right now so unless they go in and change it it'll be Clemens-Grove-Mathews-Spahn-Maddux (99). Well, the White Tigers got swept by Singapore in the LDS, the Sun Kings got swept by Huntington Beach in the LDS, and the PT20 White Tigers got swept (in all 1-run games) by Budapest in the LDS. Top seed PT20 Black Panthers went down in 4 games in the LDS. Only team still in it are the PT20 Golden Lions, tied at 2 in the LDS against Sad Hill, who we finished with the same record as. So right now my teams have amassed a 4-14 record in the playoffs. Also we're now 0 for 26 in the playoffs in PT21.
EDIT: Golden Lions lost in 5 games in the LDS. So that's a 4-15 playoff record, 5 LDS losses, 3 in sweeps. Last edited by Warhawk; 07-05-2020 at 02:38 PM. |

Raccoons (97 wins, remember) wiggle through the LDS in five games, which gives them promotion to Silver (switching places with the Mets for the second straight week ...); losing Game 5 would have dropped them behind two 98-win teams eliminated in the LDS and thus cost promotion.

Only in an Iron League....got a late start on Perfect Team this year, but had my first huge letdown. Worked hard (and spent some money) to build up my team.....finished with a 114-48 record. Lost in the playoffs to an 89-73 team. Doesn't look to be any huge last minute additions to their roster either. You never know!

Dawgs did not blow it! Finals after finishing dead last in Gold a couple of seasons ago. Now they get to get trounced by either a 111 win or 122 win team
![]() But you never know! ![]() Edit...getting the 111 guys
