PSUColonel's 2023 Full-World Set-Up Completed - Page 2

I have tried creating a quickstart game using this template, I have deleted and redownloaded the mod, I have added in ".quick" to both the .zip file that I have placed inside the extracted folder and also to the extracted file folder itself.

But every time, I get the message "Could not load world file."

What am I doing wrong? Are there any step-by-step instructions that would make it a little clearer for me to know how exactly to install this and not have this bug pop up seemingly every time?

I am surprised to hear all of this myself….let me see if I can get this down to a single file for easier installation

Edit: is it possible something has been altered that I am not aware of?

Post a screenshot of your quickstart_games folder

I tested the quickstart and did not find any issues.

I don't know what to do.

Is the problem the "availability status: sync pending?"

I renamed the files, I dropped the compressed .zip file, but I just can't get it to work, and I'm frustrated.

Any step-by-step help any of you could give would be greatly appreciated.

The compressed zip file can't be in that folder, put it in the quickstart games folder instead, and dont rename it .quick just leave it at .zip with the same name as the extracted folder

copy or unpack the zip files into a standalone folder in Quickstart. Make sure the folder name ends in .quick

I forgot to transform the Grand Junction Rockies into the Jackalopes. The logos are already in the set. Here is a link to the uniforms:

There have been a lot of changes to the game made since these international rosters were put together, so I am just warning at this point that I have no idea how well they will work together in concert any longer. This is what I knew would eventually happen once OOTPD stopped supporting them.

Everything from modifiers and finances may make these leagues pretty much obsolete, but if people can see or find any definitive issues I can try to make some adjustments, but truthfully I think the days of having full international leagues work well together are coming to an end. Obviously this will seriously diminish the amount of depth OOTP provides, and it’s truly a shame.

Actually more than a shame the game fumbled the rights to such important leagues as Japanese league (which I apparently can't put in writing without getting ***, how sick) and even the other leagues as Mexican, Taiwan, Asutralian and the smaller ones in Europe.
Knew you great effort was not as certain other mods in games with similar problem of legal matters. Some sport games can separate those "extra" missing leagues and they worj even after any updates.
This game however can't upgrade I understand and keep your great Mod workable.

This issue was overlooked at the start of this version since when I cried on the forum for these missing leagues many said it will work out when someone makes a massive effort like yours. I knew that would be only a temparate sollution, hastily wrecked when new updates comes along.

Lets hope the ne owner sort out this legal matter (but have loittle hope)
Sadly they look more on the money they make than playability.
I miss an independent Markus and his crew working without constraint.

Is there a reason the Winter development leagues were not included (Mexico, Venezuela, DR, PR, etc.)?
I can't find these anywhere as DEV leagues and was hoping for some guidance on including them

I was hoping for the same. It's kind of tricky getting these leagues anywhere close to reality. I used AFL as a standard but needed to expand the quality and got region issues.
Would love to have seen another setup for sure.

Those leagues use players from other leagues around the world, and trying to re-create them with any kind of plausible accuracy is simply way above my pay grade. I simply used the ones that were missing from previous versions. As I stated above, this is likely the last world project I ever engage in. OOTP is now pretty much an MLB only game. It’s a shame it’s regressed, but it has. This is why I’ve really become more of an FM player over the course of the last year…it’s progressing and not regressing.

Reading the changes in here about what's happening with the international leagues is super disappointing. I loved when they introduced these other leagues for additional depth, even if I didn't actively play those other leagues. Making it harder to keep them in is a shame, especially with prominent ones like Japan and Korea. At least we'll still always have the fictional universes and leagues people have made, that's been a big draw to me for years anyway. But projects like this have always been appreciated for the same reason, they add so much depth to it.

okay, need some assistance with getting the finances to work properly on this thing....I enable the finances once I start it up but I am getting some strange this happening, e.g., not one of the draft picks are signed in 2023....any help would be much appreciated.
