My Fictional Leagues
There isn't much activity in this part of the forum, but most of my fictional leagues are still in OOTP22. So I will use this thread to talk about them. I play mostly fictional. I tend to move from one to another, depending on what is happening. If, for example, I reach draft day in one league and don't really want to deal with that right then, I move to another league for a while.
With each version of OOTP I usually create a fictional league early on, just to see what changes have taken place in the game. Inevitably, though, I become attached to these test fictional leagues and continue playing them.

I'm a history nerd, and enjoy thinking about what-if situations. My United Baseball League is based on the premise that the United States suffered a complete economic collapse, not in 1929, but in 1939. Many of the existing major league baseball teams folded. The powers-that-be then realized the stupidity of segregation, and merged surviving major league teams with the best of the Negro League teams in 1945 to form a United Baseball League, with integrated teams. I threw in a couple modern teams because I just like the names Seattle Mariners and Toronto Maple Leafs.
I control the Cleveland Buckeyes. On April 28, 1950, 27-year-old Cleveland pitcher Irving Riordan threw a no-hitter against the Cincinnati Reds. It's the only no-hitter I've had in all my years of playing OOTP!

My great-great grandparents moved from the US to Haiti and lived there for a few years late in the 19th Century, so I have always had a soft spot for that country. This Haitian league is a simple 10-team league with a start date of 1960. Reserves, DH. I made the logo and all of the jerseys myself, so I'm kind of proud of this league, even though I have not spent much time playing it. Obviously, I need to complete the logos and do some away jerseys.
The team I control is the Petionville Centaurs.

I began my Summer League in OOTP14. It was intended to be just a casual little league, but of course I became attached to it and probably spend more time on it than any other league. I run the Cleveland Spartans. Richard Sabourin is my hotshot French-Canadian shortstop; probably my favorite player from all my years of OOTP.

This league shows the problem I have whenever I browse through the mods section. Back in 2020, BBGiovanni posted jerseys he had made for "Leghe Italiane di Baseball (Serie A football-based alternative to Serie A baseball setup)." The jerseys looked so incredibly cool that I just had to create a pro-rel league using them. There are so many great jerseys being created that I have trouble resisting creating new league after new league to use them.
I have not played this league very much, but I am probably going to run Roma straight down to the relegation zone in their first season.
