Historical mode draft lottery issue

Started in 1993, now in summer 1996. As you know, game starts with no draft lottery, and it's then introduced for the summer 1995 and all seasons after that.

I just went through the 1996 draft lottery but the problem is it was not a lottery. The lottery window opened and worked fine, but the picks were assigned in exactly the same order as the teams standings were.

Thus no lottery was happening and instead the picks were assigned exactly as would have been prior to the lottery system.

Unfortunately I can't verify if the same happened in summer 1995 as well. I will report if the issue persists for the next summer though.

Yeah, looks like the lottery isn't working right in historical. We'll see what's going wrong.

Same problem for me started in 2001 and 3 seasons in a row no lottery.

1998 summer was different in that there wasn't even a draft lottery window nor any announcement of a lottery.

Was this issue ever resolved?

I'm thinking of buying FHM 9 and I would like to know if historical mode draft lotteries do in fact work in FMM 8 or 9. Thanks.
