This game is made up of 5 leagues, with promotion and relegation. The leagues are, in order, from best to worst:

English Premier League* (16 teams, 4 teams relegated)
English Second League (16 teams, 4 teams promoted and relegated)
English Third League (16 teams, 4 teams promoted and 2 teams relegated)
English Lower League 1 (10 teams, 2 teams promoted and relegated)
English Lower League 2 (10 teams, 2 teams promoted)

*not related to the Premier League of soccer

RULES
The champion in each league plays in a tournament against the other league winners for the title, "Best Baseball Team in the Association", and they share one draft pool.

MEET THE TEAMS: ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE

Atlanta Otters
The team is lead by George Wright, the owner, and Gildon Alhaadi, the manager. They play their games at Turner Field (its 2001) and their best player is Brent Chambers, the second baseman.

Canberra Magicians
The team is lead by Joe Schembri, the owner, and Dominic Everett, the manager. They play their games at MIT Narrabundah Ballpark and their best player is Kyle Knott, the pitcher.

Colorado Springs Red Dragons
The team is lead by Curt Sanders, the owner, and Mike Parker, the manager. They play their games at Security Service Field and their best player is George Picard, the pitcher.

Durban Conquest
The team is lead by Justin Huppman, the owner, and Thomas Goldsmith, the manager. They play their games at Kings Park Stadium and their best player is Jake Miller, the pitcher.

Interesting idea!

I've only just bought the game but I was thinking along similar lines using English and Welsh County Cricket teams to make a British Baseball League. Maybe have to drop in a couple of fictional Scottish teams too (for the benefit of our North American friends, cricket is primarily played in England). Could be interesting using real player names and roles... for bowler = pitcher, wicket keeper = catcher, etc. etc.
