Game Settings - making changes
Hi, I'm starting a new game in MLB and considering changing the player/AI settings. The goal is to achieve realism, especially for player development and trading. The setting should be challenging, but not painful.
I've modified game settings shown below per Foolish Baseball's YouTube tutorial. These worked well with two other MLB saves of 3 seasons each but thought I'd ask how to spice it up a bit! Global Settings Keep transaction logs = last 2 years Players & Facegen Uncheck “Enable Baseball Cards” Batter Aging Speed = .750 Batter Dev. Speed = 1.000 Pitcher Aging Speed = .750 Pitcher Dev. Speed = 1.000 Talent Change Randomness = 135 AI Settings Trading Difficulty = Hard Trading Preference = Favor Prospects Ratings Weight = 30 Current Year Stats Weight = 40 Previous Year Stats Weight = 20 2 Years Ago Stats Weight = 10 Lineup Selection = Sabermetric (Splits favored) Last edited by barrybonds; 03-31-2021 at 03:13 PM. |
