Cannot Sync Card Data

Since Monday I've been getting intermittent card sync errors. It's hard to estimate but I'd say roughly 75% of the time that I try to load a league or tournament I get an error (could not sync your card data, please retry). Is this a known global issue that is being worked on? If it's a local issue what are the recommended fixes?

Am I really the only one having this problem? I've been attempting to load leagues to check on the results from this week for at least the past 20 minutes, nothing but card sync errors. Any suggestions? At this point the game is practically unplayable for me and has been for almost a full week.
