Saved Game Won't Launch

I was in the middle of doing an offseason roster update and had been able to save and load with zero issues, but now it won't load for some reason. The load screen will get as far as "Check Players" 61% and then the game crashes.

I only have one save file to load from. I should note that I'm able to start a new game fine.
