Manager Score?
How is the Manager Score calculated each season? Over the course of 42 seasons I've won it all 16 times, sometimes with a regular season win percentage of 0.747, but the highest Manager Score I've earned is 1097.
I see other past champs with Manager Scores of 1324 (0.667 win %), 1396 (0.654%), 1143 (0.580%). In fact, I iust won round 3 again with a 0.620% and only earned 696 points. Having an explanation of this would be nice. |

I don't know the exact formula, but it looks at how good your team is compared to what it achieves. So, to use the 2015 season as an example, if you win the World Series with the Phillies (with a roster the same as or similar to what they have), your score would be off the charts. Win it all with a team like the Nationals or Dodgers and you'll have a good score, but it won't be really high.
Similarly, if you even get into the playoffs, or close to the playoffs, with a bad team, you'll still have a decent score. Miss the playoffs with a great team and you'll have a lousy score. |

I may be mistaken, but I believe it also takes into account Fan Interest and (possibly) improvement over the previous season.
