Born Again Baseball Thank You's!

Okay, so it's a little corny, but here's my Academy Award acceptance speach, thank you's section, to all those that helped a first time online commish figure out what the hell he was doing in getting the league set-up! (No particular order of course).

Mark Cooley (CooleyVol) - for creating the logos for the league, and allowing me to continue using them. Mark's outfit (www.thrifty-host.com) is also our webhost, so thanks go to him for putting up with my rookie emails when I couldn't work out what I was doing wrong (it's index.html - NOT Index.html!). I'd recommened www.thrifty-host.com to any commish looking to set up an online league - best one I came across, by far!

Jeff Cobb - for digging out a couple of the logos I couldn't find and for letting me gank the league rules etc!

Jimi Patricola - commish of the WTL, for not only letting me into the WTL (a great league) but for giving me a run down on what goes where in the game's online set-up screen!

William Schaible - BABBL's LA owner, for having the original BABBL league file, and for spending hours on AIM and email getting me the league file!

All of BABBL's owners, past and present - especially the original owners who stuck with me after we were abandoned first time around, and all those owners who've given me feed back on the rules of the BABBL - Tony and Drew here especially!

Gianluca Greggio - the Philadelphia owner in BABBL - for pointing out that I'm an idiot, and telling me what I was doing wrong on the FTPs!

Andreas at .400 SS for prompt and polite replies to my inquiries on possibly getting the BABBL onto the OOTP OLS - was of great assistance!

Last but not least, MY PARENTS - WITHOUT WHOM NONE OF THIS WOULDA BEEN POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Come on, you had to see that one coming.

Seriously though - thanks to everyone who helped me out - greatly appreciated.

P.S. I'd even like to thank MLBJournalist - even although you well, ummm, led us all on and had to abandon your leagues, you did a pretty freaking good job running R2C and setting up the concept behind BABBL . . . and, unlike others, you came clean and fessed up.

No kudos for me, the guy who made the banner for MLBJournalist whoever he was, when he was runnin BABBL.

I could have made a better one, but that was what he wanted...

I did up several for Jay, Chris, umm whoever and thought the one he wanted, the one you have up, was just fair.

I could try and whip a better one up, if I had an idea what you were looking for.
