No pitch-outs from computer managers

I have come to like the new "hold runner" checkbox in OOTP23. Pitch-by-pitch works much smoother now. But the opposing AI manager never pitches out. Has something changed in 23? Or do I have a option set wrong?

Pitch outs have been reduced significantly in reality, so it's possible OOTP is simply reflecting this. Not sure however.

Man, I could use an AI that doesn't pitch out.

In my head canon, I just explain all my caught stealings as our signals have been stolen. (shrug)

Wow! Was it Mondesi racking up all those SB bases? In my save he steals at well over a 90% success rate.

Not sure the last time I have seen a pitch out in current major league game in real baseball. Obviously that is a problem in the historical game for OOTP, but not in the current game.
