Color barrier

Hi,

I thought I had selected to remove the color barrier before I started an historical league. When I tried moving players to MLB teams they automatically went into NeL free agency when I simmed a month and went right back to NeL teams.

Where do I find the color barrier option in the league settings? Can I even toggle it if I'm 20 years into playing (started in 1901)?

Rules menu, left side, there is a check box.

I’m starting a new league. How do I remove the color barrier? Do I put a check in the box to remove it? Or leave it blank to remove it?

Uncheck it so it is blank.

If you start a game before super early, it will turn on automatically around 1883/4 as that's when it went into effect and, of course, it turns off on its own in 1947. So, if you uncheck it in any game begun from, say, 1885 to 1947, it stays off.
