Application does not close....

I know I've seen this on the forum, but I'm not finding how/if it was resolved.

I'm running a MacOS 14.5 (Sonoma) on a M2 MacBook Air with enough RAM (16MB).

Game is really fun and beautiful in its construction.

But when I attempt to quit the game, it doesn't shutdown. I have used the Exit button, and returned to the Finder, but when I attempt to run a scan, it tells me to quit the "open" program. When I attempt to restart the machine, it tells me to close the "open" application.

I have to "force quit" to close OOTP25.

Is there a patch, or an update I need to install? Purchased the desktop game recently - June 29, and wondering if I captured the latest version.
