Opening Packs Crashes the Game

Whenever I open my packs, the game crashes and when I log back in to PT the players are on my roster.

BUUUT I really like to see the cards as I get them...anything I can do to rectify the situation?

This happens to me occasionally on mac, too. It's annoying, but relatively infrequent (<10% of the time).
