Teams only play within their division in a balanced schedule. 18games each, 9H/A with 3 game series. League-wide is not balanced, so 'BGN' in title.

Just make the settings match and it will work.

6days on, 1 day off. If you start the first week of april, it can go until ~Oct 10th or so., you can shift it back, if needed.

1 Sub league, 162 games, 3 Divisions of 10 teams each.

Has anyone ever made a version of this where teams play outside of their division? Does not need to be balanced, in fact I probably prefer more games within the division than out.

How about one 3-game series against each of the 20 other teams outside the division (60 total), and 10-12 games against the 9 division opponents (102 total)? For that I would go with some 4-game series, so the season would be like current MLB and so a week shorter than what is posted.

If you wanted all 3-game series with the offday every week for all teams like the attached has, the division games would work with 12 games against seven teams and 9 games against the other two.

Also the attached has no All-Star Game. Would you want an All-Star Game or not?

oh, all star game. yeah definitely need that. Is it possible to fit that in if we remove the Monday off days? I see what you mean as far as playing outside of your division...did not think about how many more games that adds to a team's schedule. Is a balanced schedule (w/ ASG) any easier?

Boy, realignment is hard

The matchups (that 60 outside division / 102 inside) are fine, unless you are set on some unworkable combination for the layout. Depends on what things are most important. I am not sure what besides the three divisions of ten teams you want.

MLB format with an All Star game is 26 and a half weeks. So starting on Apr1 takes you a couple days past Oct1. Something like the version posted at top with exactly one offday each week plus an All-Star Game slotted in would be 27 and a half weeks.

Do you want the one-week-longer version with the offday every week? If so, would you always want it Monday?

Otherwise I would do a form much like MLB - an offday (either Mon or Thu) most weeks but playing every day of some weeks because some series are 4 games.

Not a significant difference between those.

.
This (Mon or Thu off days) would be ideal, finishing up a few days into Oct.

Thank you!

Thank you so much looking forward to trying this out once I figure out how to do the realignment without blowing up my league history!
