A 56-team, 162-game schedule

56 teams, 2 subleases, each with 4 divisions of 7 teams each

Teams play divisional opponents 13 teams each (with one 4-game series and 3 3-gamers) (7/6 H/A or 6/7 H/A)
Teams play 6 games against teams from one of the other divisions in their league (3/3 H/A)
Teams play 3 games against the remaining teams in their league (3/0 or 0/3)
