I realized that for my needs, I required a subleague having a 7-5-6 teams configuration. So I created a new subleague of 18 teams with that configuration and combined it to a 6-6-6 teams subleague.
Teams 1 to 18 keep the characteristics of the previous schedule.
Team 19 to 36 play between 9 to 15 games against division rivals. The 7 team division play 10-12 games against 1 or 2 teams in the other divisions.
The 13 teams of the other 2 divisions play 18 to 28 games against 3 to 5 teams in the other divisions. Seems complicated but it works!
Like the previous schedules, all team play 76 games: 24 3-games series and 2 2-game series. No more than 18 games played without a day off, except that 23-games stint at the end. No home stand or road trip longer than 9 games. Season start on a Monday (June 15 or later), season ends early to mid September. There is an All-star game on Day 58 (2 day break).
