1899 WESTERN LEAGUE

Each team plays 126 games. Teams play each other 18 times during the season.

Season starts on April 27 and ends on September 11. Weekday games start at 3:00. Weekend and holiday (Decoration Day (5/30)) games start at 1:00. Double-header games start at noon and 3:00, except for split home-and-home double-header games between Minneapolis and St. Paul on July 4, which start at 10:00 and 3:00.

In 1900, Chicago and Cleveland would replace St. Paul and Grand Rapids, respectively, and the league would be renamed the American League.
