26 teams in sub-leagues .. Any help
26 Team, 140-148 Games, No Interleague Play Schedule Request.
<HR style="COLOR: #cea98d" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->My league has 26 teams. In the first sub-league, 3 divisions are 4 teams, 5 teams, and 5 teams. My second sub-league has 3 divisions with 4 teams a piece. NO interleague play no other stuff but perhaps an All-Star game. Can someone whip that up for me? Thanks. Alternative should be the first sub-league having 4,4,6 teams if that is easier. This schedule might even already hit the market, but I havenīt seen any. Please help me out, or inform me. In some years I will expand the league with 2 teams, but not sure were to put them. It could be identical with 4,4,6 in both. |

There is nothing around of that length that I know of. It would be a week before I am able to work on anything again.
4/4/6 is maybe a little easier to build than 4/5/5, but probably not so much to make it preferable. |

Now I would like to tempt you to create those expansion setups.
One triple-A league, 2 sub leagues (IL, PCL) NO-inter league play about those 130-148 games important that they stop playing sometime in mid-september. 3 divs each (suggestion one stay as before 4-5-5) the second sub-league expand by two teams. Perhaps 4-4-6 or 4-5-5 as the other. Second later expansion will bring the first sub-league to 16 teams and the second sub-league will remain with 14 teams the first sub-league can any tre divisional combination of 16 teams. Can you figure this out. Important is those less than 162 games and of course the Triple A All-Star game between the IL and PCL. Hope to see another super schedule from you. The first looks good but I do need these to fix the entire dynasty. |

Where both subleagues are 14 teams, it can be just the same 14 team subleague schedule as used above.
For the 14 & 16 configuration, the 16 team subleague needs to be 3 divisions also because the game I believe cannot handle properly two subleagues with differing numbers of divisions. Which subleague (first or second) is 14-team, and which is 16-team? What division order for the 4/5/5 for 14 teams and 5/5/6 for 16 teams do you want? |

Thanks for your time...
Yes itīs the same as the posted one, but donīt you need to put another file. Itīs a league where the one sub-league changed to 14 teams, so we must have a different schedule over the days. Am I wrong. I not good at cut and paste if thatīs what it takes. So the first is 1 League 2 sub 1st sub 4-5-5 and this stay the same all time 2nd sub 4-4-4 in the first like you did and this should be the expansion division on both occations. 4-4-4 to 4-5-5 and second expansion to 6-5-5 final result is then first subleague have 14 teams all times 4-5-5 second subleague final with 6-5-5 messed it up ?? 1 sub league always 14 teams 2 sub-league 12 to 14 to 16 teams Can this be done. You made the first and hopefully you could figure out the other two schedules. Thanks |

Technically, you could do a different number of divisions in each subleague in prior OOTP versions, it's just that when it got to the post-season the playoffs would be weird because the game had trouble figuring out which teams should be the playoff qualifiers. Now that the game has customizable playoffs, this shouldn't be an issue as you can set up the playoff qualifiers for each subleague separately. So, for example, with the first subleague having four divisions and the second subleague three divisions, you can set the playoff qualifiers up for the first subleage to be just the four division winners, while the second subleague can be set up to have three division winners and one wild card qualifying. So it should work all right. Last edited by Le Grande Orange; 09-27-2008 at 06:11 PM. |

I think I can live with staying 3 divs for each sub-league even after expansions.
One can never get the correct minor league teams and division anyhow, so it will be a little make up story. It has been hard work on the brain getting pretty close correct team and then fixing expansions when it comes. I say Double A ball isnīt much easier..... The schedules will however be made by some much better than me on that issue..... |

1st sub-league should go 6-5-5 2nd sub-league should go 4-5-5 in other words switch the subleagues. I found out that the first sub-league over the years perhaps should have that expansion the second time instead of having both expansion years in the second sub-league. After looking into the schedule Iīm not sure how to make this happend. Hopefully itīs an easy task for you GMO, to just swap sub-leagues. That would be 1st sub-league 4-5-5 to 4-5-5 and 6-5-5 over the span and 2nd sub-league 4-4-4 to 4-5-5 and finish 4-5-5 giving both sub-leagues one expansion time with 2 teams. |

How do I work out if I like the leagues to have their last games before mid- September. Maybe even early week September, so players can be promoted to the majors without wrecking their minor league teams.
