I basically have something ready for this:
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...-34-teams.html It is one subleague of 6/6/6 and another of 5/6/5. The subleagues can be flipped either way and the 5/6/5 can be 6/5/5 or 5/5/6. Just let me know the exact configuration if your league fits that. The format is from 14-20 games (depending on division & subleague) against division opponents, 6 games against non-division league opponents and about 6 total interleague series. |

The configuration you mentioned is fine with me. I'll do NL with 18 teams and NL with 16... Thanks again.. Chuck

If I used this for a major league, would the game have trouble generating schedules for 34 team minor leagues that don't use this schedule?

Personally, I'd recommed breaking up your minor leagues so that they aren't simply a structural copy of your major league. If you look at the real-world Double-A, for example, it contains 30 teams in three leagues (of 8, 10, and 12 teams) as compared to the majors' 30 teams in two leagues. If you were to break up your minor leagues into league sizes and alignments which match the real-world affiliated minor leagues, you would then be able to use the actual minor league schedules included with the game for your minors. Your AAA level, for example, could be split into two leagues of 12 teams and one of 10 teams. You could then use the Eastern League or Florida State League schedule for the 12-team leagues and either the Southern League or California League schedule for the 10-team league. (Note: the 2008 schedules for the real-world affiliated minor leagues are included with OOTP.) Or, you might split your AAA into two leagues of 10 teams and one league of 14 teams. Or you could split it into four leagues, with three leagues of 8 teams and one league of 10 teams. And so on. If you'd like a complete list of the league sizes, alignments, and schedule lengths used by the real minors, just say the word and I'll post it up for you. |

OOTP Won't let me use this schedule??? Says it has a different sturcture then my league.
My League is SL1 5-5-6, SL2 6-6-6... but I'd love a schedule for a league thats 6-5-6, 5-6-6 EDIT: Got this to work but my season is ending at the end of august!? Last edited by Javs; 08-23-2013 at 05:47 PM. |
